Some pupils play just for pleasure whilst others enjoy preparing for practical and theory exams.  Several colleges of music offer these, including the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music - www.abrsm.org -  which holds exams in Halifax, and the London College of Music - www.uwl.ac.uk/lcmexams -  which has local centres near Huddersfield and Keighley.
